(This blog post was written about Chris's year in 2011. It was written in Dec)

Hi Sue,
Thanks for the opportunity to share my accomplishments of 2011. As I was reading your invitation I
remember thinking: " I don't think I've accomplished much at all this year!" And, as I read on I started to feel a little more relaxed about going back the 11.5 months or so and actually remembering what a year it's been!
So, here it goes…
In January I did a bootcamp to beat all bootcamps which took up most of 6 weeks where I learned how
to service my clients on-line. I finished an on-line study course and got my Certificate 1V in
business management as well as celebrating 28 yrs of marriage, my son's 25th and my daughter's 22nd birthdays.
In February, I attended seminars and qualified as a Master NLP Practitioner, for which I am extremely
proud and very excited! My passion is to empower women who want to learn how to put themselves 1st after being a stay at home mum most of their lives, so that just like the coal which becomes a diamond under much pressure, so too can they discover the gem that lies within and begin to sparkle once more!
My coaching business is called Coal Under Pressure- empowering your inner gem. The month of March saw many opportunities open up for me where I booked a European trip for myself in search of personal fulfillment and growth-just time away to be 'me'. (You could call it research) Much of the next few weeks were spent organizing the household for my absence. Oh, and I managed to sell a hairdressing business and vacate a beach house for renting just 2 weeks prior to my departure date!
of 'LOVE'
Paris, France with my girlfriend. I met 51 fantastic people, all whom I am still in-touch with today and will remember for the rest of my life!
I then spent the next 2 weeks touring my country of origin; Greece. Well, what can I say about that? I fell in love with the sapphire sea and the beautiful white, distant specks-which were houses carved into granite rock faces. I think I photographed 2,000 doors while I was away! They were so colourful and inviting! All in all I stayed away from my 'real' life for 4.5 months and even though I missed my husband and my 3 grown children very much, I can honestly say that my time away offered me something that I could never get in the environment in which I live. The sun shone for 4 months straight, the water was amazingly fresh and clear, the food was all organic and home-grown, the villages I visited were spread along kilometres of coast-line where the mountains meet the sea and I was a water baby and my body just loved it! I refreshed and rejuvenated and recieved enough vitamin D to last me a life-time!
I opened up my heart to bring home with me my mother's
God-daughter who she hadn't seen in 18 yrs as it was my
Mum's 70th birthday while I was away and I wanted to surprize her! Not a cheap holiday by any means but a very rich and rewarding one for all… I arrived home to find that my husband had lost his job and my
youngest son had a car crash which rode off his car and left him with back and ankle injuries, something they failed to tell me while I was away so as not to shock me. Well, I think I'm still in shock! Anyway, my son is doing better now and it could have been a lot worse and my hubby is doing odd jobs for the time being to keep us going but we have a good attitude and won't let this get us down too much! As you can guess, my Mum was delighted to see her God-daughter again and she will be here for Christmas as well as
New Year's to celebrate with us. Right now, my youngest just turned 21 and we celebrated just this past weekend with 60 of our friends and family.
So you see Sue, when you reached out to me in this way, it helped me to not only reflect on the business side of my life alone but the real side of my business and that's what's important to me. We are all so connected that it's hard to separate these things. All who come into my life wether they're clients or friends or family or other, have a lot to do with all the outcomes in my life in one way or the other and you came along at just the right moment for me…..
Thank you for helping me to see my achievements over the past year and to be grateful for all the blessings that came my
way!
I wish you and your's the very best for the coming season and the new year ahead. I hope it's a fantastic one for all your followers too.
Warmest Regards,
Chris Georgopoulos
