Stepping out of Your Comfort Zone

Today we were in our Jarmies all snug at home when we got a call from my gorgeous Sister-in-law to go for a walk through Noosa National Park. It sounded lovely so off we went. With coffee in hand we arrived for a leisurely stroll through the park. When we got there we found out it was a 10km 3 hour round trip!! What the!!??? I hadnt signed up for that! I had my jeans and jumper on, drinking my warm coffee and wasnt in an exercise kind of mood!! Ever!!

So off we went on our journey, whinging and complaining about how far it was going to be. With every step we took though we started to realise that it was actually quite pleasant, even enjoyable. The sun was shining, it was a perfect day, we were at one of the worlds most beautiful places and the walk was indeed very relaxing.

We got out to Hells Gates and were met by the most breathtaking view. There was even a school of dolphins to welcome us! I realised that at first it was uncomfortable and I didnt particularly want to put in any effort, but when you do commit and decide to do something, stretch yourself a bit and get out of that comfort zone, it's SO worth it. The rewards are great and the feeling of accomplishment is priceless. In life, in business and in everyday activities, this is one of the most important things to remember. Get out of your comfy box, get moving and see amazing things happen!!

Do you fancy a better You??

Last week we interviewed the funny and very inspirational Craig Harper. If you missed it I recommend you take a listen because it was a great call. Craig was relaxed, funny, down to earth and left us all feeling like we absolutely DO want to take some positive steps to ceating a better YOU/ Me/ Us!!
Craig is considered to be the #1 Motivational Speaker in Australia. He's heard regularly on the various radio stations in Melbourne and is also seen weekly as the host of Foxtel's Living Life Now and as the fitness expert for Network Ten's '9AM' morning show. We were extremely privileged to interview him and find out more. The best part was he's coming to The Sunshine Coast to run his one day workshop cheekily titled "Stop F@cking Around!"
Funnily enough neither Toni-Louise or I were game enough to say the title of this workshop which is also the title of his book. It was hilarious as we danced around it until Craig just came out and said it! For Craig, theres no nice way of saying it.
He constantly works with people who have been setting the same goals, losing & regaining the same weight, making & breaking the same promises, having the same pointless conversations about the same mindless crap, avoiding the same issues, making the same excuses for years. He's giving them the chance to change all that! We all do it don't we! We have so many reasons and excuses for not fully achieving our goals. Life can suck that motivation right out of you.
Well Craig wants us to stop the nonsense, the excuses, the same old bad habits and once and for all get serious about
being amazing!! You can listen to the replay through the link below and also check out the amazing offer for his workshop.
We'll be there with bells on and are really looking forward to getting our 'butts kicked' into gear for a productive, amazingly successful year ahead. Not just for this year but for every year from here on.

‘Stop F*cking Around’.

Firstly, apologies if this offends you. This title is brutally honest for a boots and all, no nonsense approach to kicking you into gear. Theres no more tolerance or time for you to waste another year!!Or me for that matter.

Tomorrow we will be talking to Craip Harper and Jen Forster. Now that should be an interesting call.
Two super fit, highly motivated, extremely well disciplined success and performance coaches!!
I think Toni-Louise and I are in for some self assessment. How are we ever going to talk to them and ignore that urge to perhaps do a whole lot better.

They'll be talking about Craig's workshop they're running together in a couple of weeks called "Stop F@cking Around".

What a name for a workshop. We're all a little guilty of 'F*cking Around'. Wouldn't you agree?

Have you spent half your life 'f*cking around' and achieving little?

How about we have a listen to Craig and see how he can help us change our mindset to get productive. Its perfect timing at the start of a new year. We're all full of good intentions for the year so lets get some traction behind it and actually make things happen this year!!

Heres some inspiration for you

Heres some Inspiration for You!

We've had a challenging week here at Working Women Online. A friend of mine sent me this and I love it. I thought I'd share it with you.

Written by Regina Brett, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio.

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written.

My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

  1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
  2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
  3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
  4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
  5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
  6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
  7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
  8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
  9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
  10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
  11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
  12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
  13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
  14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
  15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
  16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
  17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
  18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
  19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
  20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
  21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
  22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
  23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
  24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
  25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
  26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
  27. Always choose life.
  28. Forgive everyone everything.
  29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
  30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
  31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
  33. Believe in miracles.
  34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
  35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
  36. Growing old beats the alternative – dying young.
  37. Your children get only one childhood.
  38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
  39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
  40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
  41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  42. The best is yet to come…
  43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
  44. Yield.
  45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."                   Suewww.workingwomenonline.com

An Online Charity??

An Online Charity??

I was talking to a good friend of mine the other day about our business, what we do, what we offer and what we charge. He asked me how much the webinars are. "well they're free" I replied. He then asked how much are the audios? "Well they're free to listen to for the first 48 hours and right now you can purchase all 15 for only $27!" He laughed and said "So you're interviewing all these amazing people, promoting them, doing lots of work, motivating, encouraging and inspiring other women, and charging next to nothing for it!! It sounds like a charity!!"

We both laughed but it got me thinking. We are running a business and helping other women to realise their potential, passion and purpose to do the same. We arent charging enough and what we are offering is of such amazing value that people are crazy not to enjoy it. This is our first series and it will probably never be this cheap again. We are so proud of the women we interviewed here and the information on these interviews is of the highest of quality and value. I can't say enough about it. Thats my passion right there!!! If I love something enough I will tell the world. I loved interviewing everyone of these women and I will tell the world about this offer because it really is amazing!!!

A charity?? Maybe! But I believe when you give out, it does come back to you. Its all about The Law of Attraction. What you sow, you also reap. We're sowing encouragement, motivation, love, abundance, inspiration and knowledge. The ladies that we have inspired have blessed us so much with their thanks and testimonials. We are already getting a return on this and we are loving every moment of it. Thanks to you all for your support. This is an ongoing journey for us and we are so happy to take you along with us. Please consider purchasing these audios as I know  wholeheartedly that they will change your life even in a small way. I believe you will love it!

Masterminding

Masterminding

On Friday we held our first Working Women Online Mastermind Group. I sent out the email to a select group of women who I knew would benefit from this group. Everyone I invited jumped at the opportunity and it was a full house. What an amazing morning we had!! Ten brilliant minds, amazing ideas and fantastic business opportunities all in the one room at the one time!!    We had so much to say and each of us cant wait to meet again for the next one. We all come from very different backgrounds, experience and businesses but when you break it down, we all need much the same thing……Encouragement, Inspiration, Motivation, Networking, Marketing and Positivity. We all need to be surrounded by like minded people that can get behind us, believe in us and push us to be the best we can be.

I am part of another incredible Mastermind Group and it has been instrumental in me taking action and coming this far in my business. We have all been such a support to one another. Its been amazing. I feel so honoured and privileged to have been able to start our own group and to share in the journey of these women. We are all about to explode in our business and for us the sky is the limit. We will be there for one another along the way, share the joys and share the tears. Being an entrepeneur can sometimes be a lonely journey and not always an easy one. Having wonderful people surrounding you as you go can often mean the difference between success and failure. Watch this space!!!! Because there are going to be some awesome success stories to come!!

A time of Inspiration

A Time of Inspiration!

Over the weekend we flew to Sydney to spend three days at Janet Beckers 4th Dimension Mastery Workshop.

What an incredible time we had. We all need a time to stop and reflect on our achievements and to clearly define our purpose and direction. This is what the workshop did for us. It was so amazing to be in a room full of like minded people supporting us, encouraging us and being inspired by us. We were so blessed by the love in the room and the amount of incredible people we met doing incredible things. We just can’t speak highly enough of Janet and her team and the amount they gave to us all. They are special people and we soaked up every minute of it.

It was also a time of fun and letting our hair down to celebrate how far we’ve come. We also grasped the vision of how far we are going to go!! This is one amazing journey and you are all right here with us.

There was some funny stories of hospital visits and bomb scares as well. I woke up the first morning in heaps of pain with a severe urinary tract infection. After walking the deserted streets of Sydney at 4am in my pjamas looking for a chemist I finally caught a taxi to Sydney hospital where they fixed me up straight away. They were wonderful!! But I have to ask WHY are there no 24hr chemists open in the middle of Sydney???? I walked back from the hospital past Martin PLace where the film ‘Sunrise’ in my pj’s at 7am!! Too funny!! It would have been an interesting sight but I didnt care. I was fixed and ready to start the awesome day!

Then the next day I was walking along and noticed an abandoned knapsack and some device with wires everywhere. It looked seriously suspicious. I notified the nice men in the nearest shop and I didnt want to see them blown to Smithereens!! The next thing theres sirens, flashing lights and the bomb squad arrives! Not your everyday occurance.

It was a funny, fun, warm, loving and extremely inspirational weekend and Toni-Louise and I have come home so excited about whats in store. Watch this space because we have some BIG plans!! And you get to benefit.

Love, inspiration and Encouragement to you all.
